WDSD & Easter Socials

**Registration will close Wednesday afternoon to prepare for event**

IN MEMORY OF EVA MARIE HOUSE

GHFEDS would like to invite your family to celebrate World Down Syndrome Day & Easter in memory of Eva!

Unfortunately we are not able to have these socials at the parks due to some parks are closed, other parks are open but not reserving pavilions and Walter Hall Park is being used as a vaccine hub. We decided to have the WDSD & Easter socials at the same time.

Saturday March 27th from 3-5pm

We will have a ice cream truck "Mooseum" serving all family members, gluten free and dairy free ice cream available. 

 Get your silly socks ready to show off! We will have a photo booth with props so the kids can show off their silly socks and poses.

Each child with Ds will be receiving a Easter basket filled with treats and a restaurant gift card.

In honor of WDSD GHFEDS will donate $1000 for Down syndrome research to LuMind Foundation. The mission of LuMind Research Down Syndrome Foundation is to stimulate biomedical research that will accelerate the development of treatments to significantly improve cognition, including memory, learning and speech, for individuals with Down syndrome so they:

• participate more successfully in school
• lead more active and independent lives, and
• avoid the early onset of Alzheimer’s Disease.
